First add-on DLC for Brutal Legend next week

Good that I have the ps3 version, I was really hoping for single-player dlc

I hope they add more to story mode. They should add a whole new section to the map, including new missions.

I had fears that BL would be biased toward the Xbox 360 (as is the case with many cross-platform games). Thank you for showing the PS3 some love!

Well, this is indeed good news, but, I think first the game needs a balance patch before we get DLC. The amount of people who rape with Firebarons is just getting silly.

Either way, I will be getting this DLC, I just hope for some more single player, story or mission based DLC in the future. Not to mention a balance pass, multiple save slots, the ability to view the legends in the “extras” menu and other small changes that will make this game more than perfect.

im glad theres dlc cuz it extends its life even there maps but seriously how awesome is an ormagoden flavoured axe there should be faction dlc like lionwhyte ive completed it twice and i have almost 100% story done the legends are awesome and i have 86 serphents freed achievement hunter put up a map with everything marked in i have got the hunter missions done and racing both with brutal rewards :D

i think they should add another faction but they cant cuz there r not any other leaders in the game and no lionwhyte because its the same as ironheade and plus they only hav 4 units like the faction would hav cletus aand the hunter guy[cant think of his name] lionwhyte units animals from the open world can anyone think of anything else

well if they made another single player mission, they could create another leader that you can fight against during the mission and then ultimately unlock for multiplayer.
that would be prtty awsome!!!
hopefully it will be quite a long mission though :/ after the dissapointingly short main story :(

To be fair, Pycronauts is still his favorite game. Well something that might appeal to you more, the reason why Loinheade Boxcar team been quite for awhile, and it invovles Tim.

i wish they would make more dlc story mode or a metal god faction.

It’s early days yet, so don’t give up on seeing a story expansion — games like Fable 2 were still receiving big story updates way after release. :)

How well Brutal Legend sells should determine what happens. This first DLC would have happened either way as presumably they developed it some time back.

make a GWAR add on! id buy that,and be totally rocking happy for months to come.Dudes at least add some GWAR songs and I guess i’d be partially satisfied :) But yeah make story mode longer lol.

Is the axe going to be a single player weapon like the guitar or is it just going to be a multiplayer weapon

i think its cool that we get new content but i think that its a little unfair that xbox users have to pay for it when ps3 users get it for free. it might just be me though

i hope xbox users get some kind of deal with the content when its only two multiplayer maps and a new axe.

It’s definitely unfair, but the chances are Sony has paid for the temporary price deal to attract people to their platform — just like Microsoft paid to have the Grand Theft Auto 4 expansion packs exclusive to the 360. EA has little to gain from doing this itself.

It’s a dirty game, but as the two consoles are so similar it’s unfortunately the way it’s played now.

I kind of agree Ryan, but I’ve noticed that there aren’t as many people online for the ps3 version. PS: I hope they put the gta dlcs on ps3 hahaha

It is a little poor that PS3 owners get it for free and 360 users have to shill out, but to the majority it’s only a minor cost anyway.

They should have fixed the horribly broken multiplayer before they added more stuff to it. Not only is it laggy but several times it has gotten mixed up and given me victories when I lost and defeats when I won.

Hmm, this is cool but I’m not really so interested in the multiplayer (dunt even have any Live :D) than the story mode… a new boss would be awesome. While the prev. bosses were all some metal genre (hair-, industrial- etc.) they could now make something like, er… Prog metal with some weird drug people in a hallucinatory looking world or something :D (Hey, I love prog so this isn’t dissing ;P)

@Tzi its prog rock you’re talking about, well it is rock :) there are 3 sides heavy, black/death (i assume) and doom so it is all there is. more stuff will not be that good. well maybe they can add a metalcore faction or something like that. that would suck but :D

if you want prog metal think about it for a sec, if we take dream theater as example it would be real hard to play those solo buffs with the gamepad :D

i hope someday we get some great solo gameplay so we can find out what happens next. :)
